About the Service

Taking the first step toward counseling can be a big decision, and we are here to make it as comfortable as possible for you or your child. Our service provides a warm, friendly, and trusting space for individuals aged 5 to 25.

Meet Our Expert Associate Counsellors

Our Associate Counsellors are highly qualified professionals bringing decades of dedicated experience to children's therapeutic support. Every member of our team is a fully qualified counsellor and maintains membership with a recognised professional counselling body, guaranteeing ethical and standards-compliant practice.

They hold specialised qualifications as CYP (Children and Young People) Counsellors at Level 5 or above, or are actively working towards this qualification here at our service, ensuring expert knowledge of young client needs.

What truly sets them apart is their immense shared experience; exceeding 20 years of working with children in roles extending far beyond traditional therapy, including teaching, social work, and sports coaching. This broad background ensures they are exceptionally well-equipped to understand the child's world and perspective.

Working strictly in a client-centred way, they utilise both direct and indirect therapeutic approaches, including play, creative arts, and games, to help children express themselves and explore their feelings. â€‹Whether they are navigating difficult emotions, dealing with a specific problem, or just need a supportive ear, we are here to listen and help them find the tools they need to feel better and thrive.
